Corporate overview
One company. Three products. One desk behind them.
IPM Simplified builds compliance software for the built environment. Each product is sold on its own, to its own customer, under its own name. Behind all three sits one team, one way of building a register, and one operations desk that every customer portal reports to.

How we are organized
The company, drawn the way it works.
The corporate site is the front door. Each product runs its own public site, customer portal and platform. Whenever a customer has a portal, that portal connects to the operations desk — which is why there is exactly one of those, and why only the team can open it.

The front door. Explains the three products, who each one is for, and links to every site the company runs.

Operations portal
Every customer account and every connected client portal, across all three products, on one screen. Customers never sign in here.
OpenProduct
InspectionSimplified
The jurisdiction's register of everything a building owes.
Product
PermitSimplified
Plan review and permitting — a Fire edition for fire departments and an All Trades edition for building departments.
Product
MaintenanceSimplified
The register that belongs to owners and to the contractors who service them.
Each customer portal above reports back to the operations portal. The team sees all of them in one place; each customer only ever sees their own.
What we build
Three people own three halves of the same paperwork.
A building's fire alarm is permitted by a city, tested on a schedule the authority enforces, and serviced by a contractor the owner pays. Three parties, three records, and until now three filing cabinets that never agreed. We build one product for each, and make sure the record underneath is the same shape in all three.
The authority
Keeps the register
What is due, what is overdue, and who is licensed to file it — for every building in the jurisdiction and every program the code gives them.
InspectionSimplified
The city
Issues the permit
Drawings in, comments out, inspections booked, permit closed — with a per-stage clock the department can defend to a council.
PermitSimplified
The owner and the contractor
Keep the proof
Certificates, readings and open deficiencies, held by the people responsible for the building whether or not the city ever asks. Two editions, sold separately.
MaintenanceSimplified
How we work
Rules we hold across all three products.
Sold separately, built the same way
No product requires the other two. But learn one register and you can read all three, because the record underneath — the item, the date, the result, the proof — never changes shape.
The other side never pays
A contractor filing to a city, an owner appearing in a register, a client receiving a certificate: none of them is asked for a licence fee to take part in a customer's system.
Written to the code you adopted
Citations, frequencies and required tests follow the edition a jurisdiction actually adopted. Administrators edit their own libraries. We do not decide what your code says.
One desk, no blind spots
Every customer portal reports to the operations desk. When a city, a marshal's office or an owner goes quiet, the team knows before the renewal does.
Where we have been
Short history, in order.
2025
IPM Simplified is founded in Chicago
Started by people who had spent years on the contractor side of fire protection, filing the same test result to three different places.
Early 2026
PermitSimplified goes live with its first city
Plan review and permitting for a fire prevention bureau, configured to the code edition the city had adopted.
Spring 2026
InspectionSimplified opens its first jurisdiction register
Contractors file directly; a passing test advances its own due date.
Summer 2026
MaintenanceSimplified launches both editions
Owner edition and contractor edition on one platform, each sold on its own.
September 2026
The operations portal connects every customer portal
One desk for the team, across all three products.
The team
How the work is divided.
A small company with one team behind three product names. These are the desks, not the org chart.
Account leads
One per product
Own the customers of one product end to end — onboarding, renewals, and the calls that happen when a portal goes quiet.
Onboarding and connections
All products
Provision each new customer's portal, load the code edition and fee schedule, and connect the portal back to the operations desk.
Product and code library
All products
Keep the shared record model and the program libraries current with the code editions our customers actually adopt.
